    <!-- PoliceTax video sitemap | host: https://www.policetax.com.au
Declares self-hosted commercials so Google can surface a video
thumbnail in search results. Updated: 2026-07-29.

         Rules when adding an entry:
           - <loc> is the page the video is watchable on, not the .mp4 itself.
           - That page must be Allow'd in robots.txt and listed in sitemap.xml,
or Google cannot crawl it and the video entry is ignored.
           - Self-hosted video: use <video:content_loc> (the .mp4).
             YouTube-hosted video: use <video:player_loc> (the /embed/ URL).
           - <video:duration> is in seconds and must match the real file.
           - Declare each video on one canonical page only.

EVERY self-hosted video here is portrait 1080x1920 (9:16). Two things
follow from that, and both have bitten us:
           - The watch page must render the player at 9/16. A 16/9 box
letterboxes the picture down to roughly 133x236, which Google
treats as "video too small" and refuses to index.
           - Thumbnails should be portrait frames cut from the video. The
entries flagged THUMBNAIL MISMATCH below still point at landscape
or generic brand images and need real 1080x1920 frames. -->

<!-- OUTSTANDING: five entries below carry a placeholder thumbnail rather
than a frame from the video itself. Replace when the poster frames are
cut (needs ffmpeg), then resubmit this sitemap in Search Console. -->

<!-- Homepage: YouTube brand commercial embedded on index.php.
The native "Welcome" video also on the homepage is declared on its own
page (/police-tax-about-video) instead, to keep one page per video. -->
